thank you

pity party is over - I'm back and I have no right to feel sorry for myself.  Thank you all for indulging me and not getting mad at my lack of sensitivity that so many of you have been though this and so much more.  I got it off my chest and I am done with that.

I am feeling much better thanks to all your love and support.  Its an amazing thing that you all know my hopes, dreams and fears more than my closest friends and family.  I share things I would never say out loud in the safety of this space.

And with that - cycle is on - Sonohystogram tomorrow.  And away we go . . . .

And, you really are allowed to get angry and collapse and yell and scream about it all sometimes!

  3. This is the best news I've read all day!! And with that-a very poignant quote for one of the most impressive Doctors there ever was...

"Congratulations! Today is your day. You're off to Great Places! You're off and away!

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes you can steer yourself any direction you choose...

out there things can happen and frequently do, to people as brainy and footsy as you.

And when things start to happen, don't worry. Don't stew. Just go right along. You'll start happening too."

I am keeping my fingers crossed that this leap of faith into IVF will reward you with a nice big beautiful high beta in time for the shower you're hosting. Nothing will take the sting out of those circumstances quite like a tiny poppy seed of hope up in your uterus :)

  4. Oh God IG...I was sooo you between the years of 2009 through the end of 2010. I fought like crazy against my fears of jumping into the IVF boat. I felt identical to how you do. I don't even know how I overcame my fear...I am barely making it through this pg as it is without exploding with fear as well. My only advice...one.day.at.a.time. Whatever you decide is the right one. Take care.
